Häktet Huddinge is located in Flemingsberg and is one of the correctional facilities that accommodates detainees both with and without restrictions. The facility also has a branch in Nacka. You can easily reach Häktet Huddinge by train and a short walk from Flemingsberg station.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a security technician at Häktet Huddinge, you will be part of the security team, responsible for daily operations and handling various tasks. The work is characterized by a varying pace where you will collaborate with other units and professions to drive and develop the operations forward. The goal is to ensure that the infrastructure for security systems meets the needs of the correctional services. Your tasks will include:

• Working with high-tech security systems that are at the forefront of network-connected equipment.
• Managing systems that include master alarm systems, communication systems, panic alarm systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV/camera systems, image storage servers, and various types of alarm and access control systems.
• Responsible for maintenance and support, including installations, upgrades, and service of all security systems.
• Planning and being responsible for specifications, orders of security systems, and ensuring that larger projects are carried out by suppliers.
• Acting as technical support for staff in the monitoring center and providing support to all departments within the area of security technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position of security technician, we are looking for a responsible and positive person with good problem-solving skills. You need to be self-sufficient but also able to work well with others. Your good collaboration skills and service-oriented approach make it easy for you to adapt to different situations that arise. At times, the work is intensive, requiring a good ability to prioritize and work in a structured manner. The role also requires a high level of security awareness.

You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for someone who has:

• A university or high school education in technology, security, or IT, or other education combined with relevant experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Very good IT skills and experience working with technical systems.
• Can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working as a security technician.
• Previous work identifying and addressing security deficiencies and incident management.
• Experience and knowledge of security in cloud environments, ISO standards, and other international guidelines.
• Previous work with classified security tasks.
• Several years of relevant work experience, preferably in networks, electrical/telecommunications technology, or similar areas.
• Knowledge of Kriminalvården's operations.
